Jorge Mario Cruz-Duarte

Jorge M. Cruz-Duarte is a Postdoctoral Researcher (since 2025) at the Equipe de Recherche Bonus (opens in a new tab), Centre Inria de l'Université de Lille. Previously, he was a Research Professor (2021–2024) in the Research Group on Advanced Artificial Intelligence at the Tecnológico de Monterrey (TEC) (opens in a new tab). He is a Level I member of the CONACHyT (opens in a new tab) Mexican National System of Researchers, an IEEE (opens in a new tab) Senior Member, a member of the Mexican Mathematical Society (SMM (opens in a new tab)), and a member of the Mexican Academy in Computer Sciences (AMEXCOMP (opens in a new tab)).

Jorge chairs the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society’s Task Force on Automated Algorithm Design, Configuration, and Selection (TFAADCS) (opens in a new tab). He actively serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals, including Applied Soft Computing, Swarm and Evolutionary Computation, Applied Thermal Engineering, IEEE Access, and Mathematical Reviews.
